Karasu Sansho is characterized by its sharp thorns and strong citrus-like aroma. With a potted seedling, you can easily start planting without damaging the roots.

It grows quickly, has sharp thorns on its branches and trunk, and bears red fruit in autumn. It is not commonly used for food or medicine like Sansho (Japanese pepper), and it got its name because crows are fond of eating its fruit.
