OMEGA Automatic Watch Gold (Reason for Discount)
Omega automatic wristwatch from the 1940s with a silver dial and gold case.
The reason for the reduced price is that during the last overhaul, a part of the automatic winding mechanism was damaged, so it has been converted to manual winding only. It is now slightly lighter and quieter, but has lost its original functionality.
Currently, it gains about +2 minutes per day when laid flat. It may be adjustable, but an overhaul is recommended for practical use.
There is a scratch between the 1 and 2 o'clock positions on the dial.
The case back also has scratches and dents.
A non-genuine leather strap and a non-genuine buckle are included as a bonus.
This is a watch with a lot of character that I was fond of, but I am selling it to downsize my collection. Thank you for looking.
It will be shipped via Sagawa Express, size 60.
Scratches, cracks, etc... present.
