Drafting etc. Tracing Mylar Long-term storage item KIMOTO Diamond Mat Super 500

My husband brought this home thinking it could be used as a sewing pattern when he went to help with spring cleaning, but since it wasn't paper, he couldn't use it. After looking it up, I found the following:

Product 1:
Diamond Mat Super 500
1100mm x 20m (appears to be new)
Manufacturer: KIMOTO
List Price: ￥51,400 (tax included) (current price) - I couldn't find a width of 1100mm.

Product 2:
Kakulark
1000mm x 20m
Manufacturer: KIMOTO
Is this no longer in production??

Since it's in a box, the contents are not sun-faded.

I'm not sure if it's unused or if it's been used a little.
