【Yellow, Red, Green】Red-bellied Jewel Beetle Specimen Beetle Tamamushi Shuhada Eco-gane Mu

Scientific Name: Omocerus cf. similis?

This is the species featured in The World's Most Beautiful Beetles, page 26, top right. It is characterized by its relatively small size but strongly developed protrusions relative to its body size, and its excellent coloration among green Omocerus species.
Among the South American tortoise beetle subfamily, species with beautiful patterns are called brooch beetles, and this is an attractive group due to the diversity of their patterns and shapes.
Many species possess a vibrancy akin to works of art, making them wonderful even when displayed individually.
