Imari Ware Soba Choko Set of 2, Aka-e (Red Painting), Soba Cup, Somen Noodle Cup
49.50 $
Description
Downsizing my mother's collection of Seto pottery.
This is an Imari ware soba choko (small cup for soba dipping sauce).
It has 冨貴長春 (Fuki Choshun - meaning wealth, nobility, long life, and spring) on the back, but I don't believe it's an antique Imari.
Purchased about 30 years ago.
I think I might have bought it on impulse during a period when I was collecting soba choko.
Since I don't eat soba at home, it was mostly displayed and hardly used.
Size: Diameter Top 9.5 cm, Bottom 7.5 cm, Height 7 cm.
The colors and painting are beautiful, so it adds a touch of elegance just by displaying it.
I plan to list other items such as Arita ware, Imari ware, Kiyomizu ware, Mino ware, etc. Red painting.
