Spiraea x bumalda 'Goldflame'

This is a Spiraea 'Goldflame' seedling.

It's a recommended shrub whose beautiful orange-gold foliage in spring can be enjoyed as Momiji in autumn, and it also blooms. It's an essential item for coordinating your garden, adding rich color during seasons with few flowers. This variety forms a bushy mound shape with fine leaves. New leaves are coppery orange, turning golden to reddish-orange until summer, becoming green in summer, and then Momiji in autumn. It blooms with pale pink flowers in early summer. Its shape is slightly more upright than 'Gold Mound' but it is smaller than common Spiraea.
