Iwahiba, also known as rock pine, grows on rocky mountain terrain. It also has the nickname resurrection plant and is considered a lucky plant, as it can revive to its former vigor with just a little water when it appears to be dying.
Its flower meanings are harvest, unyielding spirit, and longevity.
It has a tendency to go dormant in winter due to cold and dryness, curling its leaves and appearing withered. However, it will gradually revive in spring, unfurling its leaves vibrantly and growing vigorously again.
It prefers a location with partial shade.
