This is for 800ml (2 x 400ml bottles) of reduced-salt umezu.
The biggest feature of this product is its low salt content, approximately 10% (compared to typical umezu at 20%, this is about half). Low-salt umezu is useful for drinking or cooking when you've been sweating or want to relieve fatigue.

Umezu is a byproduct of making pickled plums (umeboshi), but it contains only plums and salt (sun-dried salt), so it's concentrated with the goodness of plums. It's a natural food that can be used in various ways depending on your ideas, and we believe it will be beneficial for your healthy lifestyle.

The umezu is undiluted and has not had its components adjusted. It is filtered during manufacturing to remove sediment that may form from water-soluble dietary fiber in the plum juice. (As the components are not adjusted, sediment may form over time.) This umezu is a blend of three types: Nanko, Shirokaga, and Orihime plums.

Comes in a soft plastic bottle with a cap (400ml each). As a note to purchasers, please do not use sharp tools such as a cutter knife to open the product upon arrival. (There have been instances where the umezu bottle was damaged during opening.)
