This is a Yanagiba knife from Seki Magoroku. Because it is made of high-carbon steel, it will have excellent sharpness if properly sharpened.
It has been oiled, but there is some rust, so please take care of it.
I used it to prepare fish I caught, but I haven't been able to go fishing much lately, so I'm selling it to declutter.
