Description
This is a lava rock plate.
Size: Approx. 100 x 100 x 25mm
Weight per piece: Approx. 500g
Wild reptiles bask in the sun as part of their daily routine. Lava rock plates absorb light and provide warmth through far-infrared radiation.
Furthermore, lava rock retains moisture when wet, making it beneficial for species that prefer humid environments.
In aquariums, it can also be used as a hiding place for juvenile shrimp and plecos. Lava rock is porous, which promotes the colonization of beneficial filter bacteria.
Additionally, it can be used as a land area for turtles and newts.
*As lava rock is a natural material, each piece will vary.
