Hoshi Ittetsu's Table Flip - Folding Leg Table - Vintage Furniture Style - For Pretend Play

I enjoy woodworking as a hobby. I wondered why I had only made square tables before and hadn't thought of making a chabudai (low Japanese table). So, I made one. When I think of chabudai, I recall the iconic chabudai flip from the Showa-era anime Star of the Giants, and I made this table with that image in mind. *I'd love to try flipping a chabudai with all my might at least once!* Also, it's a bit small for family use, so it's versatile for people living alone, as a children's chabudai or table, a display shelf for miscellaneous goods, or a flower stand. I used whitewood, which is sold cheaply at home centers. As it's a natural material, there may be knots, stains, or minor imperfections from my hobby craftsmanship such as scratches, cracks, dirt, gaps, or insufficient polishing. The tabletop has a diameter of 550mm. The legs are foldable, and the height to the tabletop in the image is 255mm. The thickness when the legs are folded is approximately 10cm. To fold the legs, simply pull the black knob lever and fold them inwards. Felt is attached to the legs for stability and to prevent scratches, but if they still wobble, please reinforce them by adding more felt. The finish is stained in walnut color and then coated with urethane. Please understand that this is a hobbyist's amateur work, so there may be minor scratches, stains, dirt, gaps, putty-filled scratches, insufficient polishing, or poor painting. It is not comparable to high-end furniture found in furniture stores.
