Karimoku, fully refurbished, oak wood oil finish, innocence, reference price approx. ￥130,000

This is a meticulously full-maintenance old Karimoku low table.

Originally finished in brown urethane, it had a substantial feel typical of older furniture.
However, the top, sides, and legs have been stripped, sanded, and finished with oil.

We have carefully restored it to blend with the modern era, while respecting Karimoku's proven craftsmanship and the history of this well-used piece.

Instead of the smooth, glossy finish characteristic of urethane, we've retained a natural texture that allows you to feel the wood's grain and touch.

The original lower shelf has been removed because its veneer texture did not match the main body.
Visually, removing the shelf has streamlined the overall appearance, further highlighting the leg design and the presence of the wood.

We have minimized the traces of time from its previous owner, so that the next person can comfortably create their own memories with it.
We wish to pass this on to someone who appreciates the unique value of a one-of-a-kind item, neither brand new nor simply used.

This model is no longer sold as it has been discontinued, but a similar design is currently on the market for approximately 130,000 yen.

[Condition]
Although fully maintained, this is a used piece of furniture that has been refinished.
There may be minor scratches, uneven coloring, sanding marks, or slight traces of use.

We recommend this item to those who can enjoy the natural wood grain and the atmosphere of a refurbished piece, rather than those seeking perfect, like-new condition.

Please review the photos and purchase only if you understand this.

We replaced the screws with new ones to eliminate as much of the used feel as possible (see photo 19).

The quality label sticker has been removed (the original sticker is shown in photo 20).

[Finishing Details]
The oil finish leaves a natural feel to the wood. If liquids are left on the surface for an extended period, they may cause stains, so please wipe them up promptly.

You can continue to use this item for a long time by performing self-maintenance with oil.
