Unused condition, rare, five-bead abacus, Otsu Marine Products Wholesalers Association, 31cm, Showa retro antique

This is an extremely rare five-bead abacus, bearing the stamp of the Otsu Marine Products Wholesale Commercial Association.

Although it is an older style from before the early Showa period, it is in exceptionally beautiful condition, appearing almost unused and preserved as it was at the time, with very little wear on the beads or dirt from use.

The wood grain is remarkably vibrant, and an abacus with this many beads in such excellent condition is rarely seen on the market.

The original paper box (Seisen Gozanban - Select Abacus) is included. While the box has significant damage and tears due to age, it will be sent along with the abacus to protect it and serve as a testament to its history.
