The Peach Drop is a unisex, 65cm rib length umbrella featuring super water-repellency and wind resistance. Peach Drop is a super water-repellent material with a slightly napped fabric surface, similar to the skin of a peach, that repels water droplets instantly upon contact. Super water-repellency is generally defined as the phenomenon where water droplets contact the surface at an angle of approximately 150°, but Peach Drop measures a contact angle of 153°, maintaining the water droplets' surface tension like beads on the fabric.
Its water-repellent performance is also highly durable. In water-repellency tests conducted by an inspection agency, it achieved the highest rank of 5 (out of 5) before washing. It maintained rank 4 after 40 washes and rank 3 after 50 washes. After 50 washes, a hot air treatment was applied, and the water-repellency was re-tested, showing a recovery to the same level as after 5 washes. Even after the water-repellency decreases, its function can be restored by applying heat, allowing you to use it with its water-repellent properties for a long time.
The Z-shaped rib structure connecting the main ribs and stretcher ribs allows the umbrella to invert under strong winds, diverting the wind and preventing damage (tested for wind speeds of 15m/s). The one-touch open jump type is convenient when your hands are full with luggage.
The main ribs are made of thick, flexible, and durable white fiberglass. It is recommended for men, as well as women who prefer a more generous size. The UV shielding rate is over 90% for all colors, making it a sun and rain umbrella that can be used all year round, on both rainy and sunny days. UV Shielding Rate: BK 99.9% NV 99.8% GY 99.6%
