A refreshing flower to decorate early summer. These are lovely water lilies with a diameter of 6-7 cm. They start blooming around July and continue to flower until early autumn. They can be easily grown in planters or 5-6号 pots. To encourage abundant blooming, ensure the leaves receive plenty of sunlight by providing a wide water surface.

Planting Period: Mid-March to July
Flowering Period: Early June to Late October
Plant Height: 5-10 cm depth from the water surface

Cultivation Method
Plant in a small pot, such as a 5号 pot, and place it in a water basin or pond. You can enjoy water basins starting from about 30 cm in diameter, but if you have a larger space like a pond, the stems will extend and the leaves can spread to over 1 meter in diameter. The plants will be delivered as potted seedlings. You can either place the pot as is into the water basin, or plant the seedling gently removed from the pot into soil (regular potting mix) within the basin. You can enjoy flowers when the water depth above the soil is 10 cm or more, but in mid-summer, the water temperature can get high, so aim for a depth of about 20 cm. Keep in a sunny location. Also, never use insecticides.
Growing aquatic plants allows you to enjoy interaction with nature through water, as small birds may come to bathe and dragonflies may lay eggs. The soil in the pots often contains aquatic creatures like dragonfly larvae, so please cherish them. It is also fun to keep medaka (Japanese killifish) in the pot, as they will eat mosquito larvae if they appear.
The plants go dormant in winter but can overwinter outdoors as they are. They are fine even if the water freezes. Manage them so that they do not run out of water. They can be propagated by dividing the clumps in early spring.

As these are living plants, they may wilt. We appreciate your understanding.
