? Sundew Seeds (Carnivorous Plant)
◆ Seed pods: 3 (approx. 100-150 seeds)
It appears there are at least 30 seeds per pod ?
* The last photo shows approximately 50 seeds confirmed in one pod.
* Please understand that there may be slight variations.
These sundews grow wild on our property.
Flowers bloom around July, and then seeds are produced ?
* Since these grow wild, we have not intentionally sown and grown them ourselves. For details on sowing seeds, please research online or elsewhere. m(_ _)m
* The seeds are very fine, so please check them on white paper in a windless environment when opening.
◆ From the internet:
The sundew is a perennial herb belonging to the genus Drosera in the family Droseraceae. It is also known by the alternative name Marubamousengoke, derived from the specific epithet rotundifolia. It is a type of carnivorous plant that captures insects by secreting mucus from the glandular hairs on its leaves.
? If you plan to use sphagnum moss for sowing, we can also provide it ?
We have fresh sphagnum moss available. Please contact us if you are interested. (^^)
