The slanted small holes shave hard butter into threads, which can then be spread directly.
The serrated edge can be used to remove burnt-on food.
The handle and blade are integrally molded, not welded, making them durable.
To shave, do not hold the main body too upright; press it almost parallel to the butter and slide from left to right.
