Description

This is a cicada (Minmin-zemi) sealed in transparent epoxy resin. The resin has high transparency due to air bubbles being removed with a vacuum pump. The surface is also smoothed with waterproof sandpaper and compound. Resin that is resistant to yellowing is used. Since the insect is not exposed to air, it can be preserved for a long time and is odorless.
