This is a premium fermented substrate made from 100% oak sawdust, which has been found to be most effective for rhinoceros beetles through years of research, using the highest quality Himalayan Oyster Mushroom spawn.

We've added several types of special amino acids and bacterial agents that promote the growth of Japanese rhinoceros beetle larvae.

By incorporating bacteria, the symbiotic microorganisms within the digestive tract that break down cellulose into protein sources become more active, improving nutrient absorption.

Feeding this from the early larval stages leads to larger adult beetles.

Experiments have shown that larvae raised on this premium fermented substrate, rich in symbiotic microorganisms like internal bacteria, grow significantly larger than those raised on commercially available substrates.

We crush new spawn made from oak sawdust and carefully undergo a triple fermentation process for an extended period in a controlled indoor environment.
(We do not use waste spawn discarded by mushroom farms, unlike cheaper substrates from other companies.)
