This is a listing for a set of 2 blocks of used shiitake mushroom substrate.

Approximately 3000cc.

Additional blocks are available for any quantity!

These used substrate blocks are made from 100% raw oak sawdust and are packed with nutrients.

As you can see in the image, the mycelium is firmly established inside.

Simply bury the blocks in the substrate, and stag beetles will lay eggs!

They are easy to break apart, making it easier to extract larvae than with logs, and you can get a large number of larvae!

Ante (likely referring to *Dorcus antaeus*) are laying eggs prolifically!

It also enhances the nutrition for rhinoceros beetle larvae.

When raising rhinoceros beetle larvae, you'll notice a significant increase in size just by burying these in the substrate.

They are also excellent as food for larvae of stag beetles that prefer mycelium, such as giant stag beetles (*Dorcus hopei binodulosus*), stag beetles (*Prosopocoilus inclinatus*), rainbow stag beetles (*Phalacrognathus muelleri*), and giraffe stag beetles (*Prosopocoilus giraffa*)!

They are also suitable for creating your own original fermented substrate by breaking them apart.

*The image is of one of the items from our stock.
Please only purchase if you understand that some may be slightly broken or have different shapes.*

These are used substrate blocks, not for making mushroom logs.

This is a limited sale, so the listing will end once sold out.

We also have other items for sale, including fermented substrate that promotes larval growth, stag beetle substrate, coniferous substrate ideal for adult beetle management, perches for adult beetle breeding and display, and high-grade pro jelly. Please check out my other listings.
