Price is firm.

This is a small brush and dustpan set from asahineko, made from Japanese cypress (hinoki) wood, one of the Kiso Five Trees, from Tsukechi, Gifu Prefecture.

The rounded, unique form was designed by product designer Makoto Koizumi.

The small brush stands on its own on tables and desks, with a fun design that sways back and forth. The handle has been designed for a secure grip that is difficult to slip from the hand. The brush can also be stood upright on its handle, and its swaying motion is soothing.

The dustpan's receiving opening fits snugly against the surface, making it easy to sweep up dust and debris without leaving any behind.

It is finished with urethane coating, making it resistant to dirt and easy to clean. It is useful for collecting small debris or dusting off coats and shoes at the entrance. The charm of natural materials is that they gain more character with use.

This is an unused item, still in its original box.
