Made from naturally dried cedar wood. For recent heat countermeasures, the bottom board can be swapped between a regular type and a 6mm mesh wire screen. By removing the bottom board, internal inspections can be easily performed using a smartphone, mirror, or other tools. The top is made with plywood with slits, designed to accommodate wax moths, Acarapis woodi (bee mites), and winter feed boxes. To prevent comb collapse, 6 metal rods are included. Usage instructions are provided in a letter along with tips for attracting bees.
