I am selling this whetstone as I have accumulated too many.
It has been used only a few times to sharpen multiple blades and is in near-unused condition.
This is a beautiful lotus nest stone that needs no introduction.
How about it for smaller blades?
It's a stone that's somewhere between a white nest stone and a bluish ceiling nest stone.
While the current grinding surface has a faint lotus bloom, the sides suggest that more lotus flowers are likely to emerge, making it an exciting stone.
It offers the crisp sharpening feel characteristic of lotus nest stones.
It's easy to handle and allows you to easily achieve a polished edge.
The feel of use is medium to slightly hard. Mud is produced well without needing a nagura stone.
Hairlines are not noticeable.
