Polishing method: Polished SS400 mild steel with artificial whetstone #1000, then polished for approximately 2 minutes.
Magnification: 120x.
Please note that the stone may have been treated with Tennen Togi Yojozai Ishisan to prevent cracking. This does not affect sharpening.
We believe that placing this stone between your finishing stone and the blade will result in faster and cleaner sharpening.
