The powerful and forward-moving horse symbolizes energy that drives things forward, making it an auspicious creature. 2026 is the year of Hinoe-Uma (丙午), a time of rapid progress and the emergence of hidden things, marking a turning point for change. It is also said to be a year of heightened passion, creativity, and competitiveness.

Sunrise is a product that Muko, a Lush staff member from Japan, participated in its development. It draws inspiration from the Japanese culture of viewing the first sunrise. To allow those who cannot go out to see the first sunrise due to their busy daily lives to pray for happiness in the New Year, we chose the beautiful orange color of the sun appearing over the horizon.

■ Featured Ingredients


Orange juice, rich in Vitamin C and enzymes, leaves skin moisturized and radiant. It also adds a bright and refreshing scent to Lush products.


A readily absorbed carrier oil derived from the kernels of sweet almonds, containing oleic acid and Vitamin E. It has a rich, nutty aroma and leaves the skin feeling soft and moisturized.


Carrageenan is a dried and powdered mucilage extracted from seaweed. When hydrated, this extract forms a jelly-like substance that moisturizes and softens the skin.

This fragrance is in the same family as the previously sold bath bomb, The One Yellow. The bright citrus notes of lemon, nurtured by nature, will fill your bathroom. We chose a scent reminiscent of the sun, so that those who use Sunrise can feel positive about wanting to have a good year.

Shake the bottle gently, lather an appropriate amount with a sponge, towel, or your hands. Then, massage into your skin and hair to cleanse, and rinse thoroughly. Get ready for the New Year enveloped in an energetic citrus scent!
