This is a gelling agent for ileostomy patients to solidify watery stool in their stoma pouches.
This product contains CP-1, a highly absorbent resin sold for emergency toilets, packed into cellulose capsules. Inserting 1-2 capsules into the pouch will dissolve the capsule in watery stool, releasing the granular absorbent resin to solidify the stool. It can then be flushed down a regular toilet.
★We have received reports in past transactions of capsules not dissolving or stool not solidifying. The product's effectiveness may vary depending on the individual.
By crushing the capsule near the gas filter during sleep, the inner water film is removed, which helps prevent ballooning and extends the life of the pouch. Herbal essential oils have been added for deodorizing effects. Hinoki essential oil appears to improve the water resistance of skin barrier products.
