This item in the image is a kaishi-ire (fukusa-basami) made using the traditional Nishijin-ori weaving technique of Teori Tsuzure (hand-woven tapestry) by Souhachi Saku.

Tsuzure-ori is an extremely labor-intensive and advanced technique where artisans file their fingernails into a saw-like serrated edge and use their nails to draw the threads together to weave the pattern.

Design: Features a landscape woven into the fabric, reminiscent of bridges (such as the Biwako Ohashi Bridge).

Suitable for both men and women.
