Purchased over 35 years ago at Oshiro Lace in Kyu-Karuizawa, this item has been stored on a shelf with other linens. It was in the condition shown in photos 1 and 2, but upon taking it out for this listing, I found no stains or damage.
This is a 100% cotton, cross-shaped doily featuring embroidered floral patterns and a scalloped edge. Simply placing it in a square or round basket will add a lovely touch, even without bread, especially for the upcoming season.
The tag indicates 45x45cm, but it actually measures a large 58x58cm.
