Leak-Tec's formulation is a stable blend of synthetic surfactants with low surface and interfacial tension, effective on metal surfaces that are clean, tarnished, oily, or covered with oxidation products.
Leak-Tec wets, spreads uniformly and rapidly, and reacts to even the smallest leaks with a mass of bubbles.
The mass of bubbles constantly breaks down and reforms (compared to one or two large bubbles gradually growing larger, this product is much more visually detectable).
It is nearly neutral (in the same range as good quality water), has a long shelf life, is not affected by bacterial action, and does not form sediment for any reason.
It is also less corrosive than water and leaves no undesirable residue after evaporation.
