Handmade dyed flower accessory using Oshima Tsumugi old fabric - Magnolia
This is a dyed flower accessory made from vintage Oshima Tsumugi fabric, featuring a Magnolia (Taisanboku).
Vintage Oshima Tsumugi fabric and brown hand-dyed satin were layered and shaped with a soldering iron.
The flower stamens are also entirely hand-dyed and handmade.
You can enjoy this as a long-lasting interior decoration.

Brown
[Size]
Approx. 20 x 20 cm
[Hand-dyed fabric flowers]
Somebana (dyed flowers) are created by cutting white fabric into petal and leaf shapes, dyeing them to the desired color, and then shaping them into flowers using a soldering iron.
Over time, the shape may change or fray, but this can be enjoyed as part of the vintage and antique aesthetic.
[Notes]
- As the fabric is hand-dyed,
exposure to water, moisture, or strong pressure may cause color fading or loss of shape.
