This is a large ceramic hibachi (brazier) with beautiful traditional indigo blue dyeing.
Delicate patterns reminiscent of landscape paintings and scenes of nature are depicted all around, giving it a strong presence.
Nowadays, hibachi are popular not only as braziers but also as medaka (killifish) ponds or water lily pots in gardens, or as planters for houseplants indoors, adding a Japanese modern interior touch.
