Shigaraki ware is one of Japan's six ancient kilns.
Characterized by the warm hīro (scarlet color) produced by firing in climbing kilns and tunnel kilns, and the taste of natural glaze, bidoro glaze and charring, which bring out the unique earthy texture of Shigaraki, it conveys the aesthetic of wabi-sabi as an art woven by earth and fire.
It has a unique charm that only Shigaraki ware can offer.
There is a drainage hole at the back.
Shigaraki ware pottery is rich in earthy texture, blends well with nature, and is a strong ally in creating a beautiful entryway.
