#Yamasan's Soil

Kiryu sand is a type of mountain sand produced around Kiryu City, characterized by its high iron content, which is essential for plant growth.
Its porous and angular structure promotes root branching, and its excellent drainage and aeration, along with its high hardness and resistance to crumbling, make it primarily used as a component in bonsai soil.

Larger grains are used as drainage material at the bottom of pots.

Its excellent drainage and aeration, along with its high hardness, make it suitable for mixed soil for succulents such as Haworthia, Agave, and cacti.
