■ Tanuki Family's Handmade Mochi

Our mochi is made with 100% homegrown Echigo Kogane mochi rice.

We use the traditional authentic hand-pounded method, where mochi rice is steamed until fluffy and then pounded with a stone mill and pestle.
Two generations of our family carefully finish each batch.

Unlike simple mochi made by kneading mochi flour,
you can fully enjoy the stretch, aroma, and flavor when grilled.
