Chickweed Seeds ?
These are chickweed seeds, grown and harvested completely pesticide-free at home amidst the great nature of Wakayama.
?? For those who purchase, I will send detailed cultivation instructions ?
?? For repeat customers, I will add a little extra. Please let me know if this is a repeat purchase ?
Chickweed is a wild plant, so it is not sold in flower shops or home centers, and I believe these are rare seeds that are difficult to obtain.
How about taking this opportunity? ?
?? As these are wild plant seeds, they are smaller and finer than you might imagine.
?? Since these are wild plant seeds, unlike cultivated varieties, germination is not guaranteed depending on your region and environment.
* To keep the selling price down, we will ship via mini letter. If mini letter is not suitable for you, please refrain from purchasing, or we can change to Mercari delivery for an additional 200 yen. Please comment if you would like us to create a page for you.
This is a mixture of Midori Hakobe (Green Chickweed) and Kohakobe (Common Chickweed).
The ratio will vary depending on the harvest amount at the time.
Both are favorites of small birds.
As they are wild plant seeds, they are truly small and fine.
They are so fine (about the size of poppy seeds) that you might think Huh? Is that all? and feel like there aren't many, but I do count them carefully.
(I do not include the very smallest seeds in the count, so there are over 400 seeds.)
Despite this description,
* Please refrain from purchasing if you plan to leave reviews such as They were too fine to count or It doesn't seem like there are 400 seeds. m(_ _)m
Depending on the soil and environment, germination may be difficult, but once they sprout and grow successfully, they will often re-seed and grow every year.
Why not grow chickweed from completely pesticide-free seeds that you can safely give to your small birds for their health?
Hamsters, squirrels, rabbits, and turtles will also be happy to eat them (*^^*)
