This is a membrane seam tape suitable for 2-layer rainwear with a TPU laminate on the lining, or PU or PVC coating/laminate. It can be used for seam repair. Please check the original garment before use.
Width 20mm x Length 20m / Approx. 70g. Red / Membrane seam tape with a TPU film, applied by heat. For 2-layer fabrics, be careful not to over-iron as they are thin.
Clean the fabric, place a cloth such as a handkerchief over it, and test adhesion with a dry iron setting at low to medium heat (approx. 10-18 seconds). Direct application of the iron may cause the fabric to melt due to heat.
*Avoid processing on PE (polyethylene) cloths such as tarps, as the fabric may melt. It cannot adhere to water-repellent treated garment surfaces, or fabrics coated with water repellents or lubricants such as silicone-based ones.
*There may be seams due to the tape winding process. Thank you for your understanding. Avoid ironing over embroidered areas. Adjust temperature and time according to the repair environment.
