[Product Description]
This is a handmade felt Elizabeth collar created as a countermeasure for feather picking in lovebirds.
It uses a firm 2mm thick felt, which is rarely seen on the market, so it will not bend or lose its shape.

I myself struggled with feather picking in my lovebird, and after trying various things, I found that a felt collar with this shape and firmness was the most effective. Based on this experience, I am making these hoping to help others with the same problem.

You can choose between two diameters: 8cm or 10cm, to suit your preference.
The sample shown is 8cm.

You can also choose between with or without a hole.
The hole is 2cm in diameter.
My lovebird has a 2cm hole and I make about 4-5 small slits of about 2mm.

It's heartbreaking to put this on your cute parrot... but sometimes they pick their feathers until they bleed, so we keep it on until the wounds heal.

If you want to remove it when your bird is out of the cage for free flight, a snap-on type is convenient, but please check the images for details such as the added thickness at the snap closure.
