The 22ml (0.75 oz) size uses a squeeze bottle type container where you press the bottle with your fingers to dispense the contents, rather than a pump. Because of this, it may feel like liquid is being squirted rather than sprayed as a mist, which can make it feel difficult to use. Here are some tips and precautions to make this type a little easier to use. Tips for Using the 22ml Bottle: Remove the nozzle from your nostril before releasing the bottle: After squeezing the bottle to dispense the liquid, be sure to remove the nozzle from your nostril before releasing your finger. If you release your finger while the nozzle is still in your nose, nasal discharge or airborne contaminants can flow back into the bottle and be sucked in. Use it as nasal drops by tilting your head back: Instead of trying to spray, tilt your head back slightly, turn the bottle upside down, and let the liquid drip into the back of your nose like eye drops. This drop method is officially recommended overseas even for infant care (such as Kid's Xlear).
