This is an antique battledore.
It has been stored away in its box, unused.

How about using it as a cute and festive New Year's decoration?

This is a dance adaptation of a painting by Eichi Itcho, an Edo-period artist who modeled his work after a boatwoman from Asatsuma Village. She dances gracefully in a white-beautified figure, beating a drum on a boat floating on the moonlit sea.

[Condition]
It was stored with cellophane wrap still on, so the photos show it unopened.
It was stored with moth repellent and moisture absorbers, but there may be age-related changes in color, texture, or other deterioration. (It looks generally okay, but the box is clearly damaged.)
