Description
This is a vase made with Blue Pottery, a traditional craft from the Jaipur region of India.
I was drawn to its vibrant blue color at an antique shop and purchased it.
I did not use it as a vase, but rather displayed it as an objet d'art to match the blue theme of my washbasin.

Blue Pottery is a type of ceramic ware glazed with vibrant cobalt blue or turquoise glazes. Instead of clay, a special powder mixed with quartz powder, powdered glass, borax, and other ingredients is used, which directly brings out the vivid colors on the white pottery.
Each floral motif is meticulously hand-painted, making this a wonderful vase that evokes a sense of exotic charm.
It's just the right size to display as an interior decoration, but it also offers a different kind of charm as a single-flower vase.
