This is a rubber gasket for PVC valve sockets, primarily used when creating an overflow for outdoor medaka (Japanese killifish) breeding tanks. (As it's just a gasket, it can be used for other purposes as well.)

Outer Diameter: Approx. 30mm x Inner Diameter: Approx. 22mm x Thickness: Approx. 3mm

Made by a leading domestic manufacturer with high quality. This is the same product included in the medaka breeding tanks and overflow parts sets sold by us, so it has a proven track record and is a reliable product. (It meets standards for tap water, making it safe for aquatic life.)

Often, there's a 4-5mm gap between the flanges of the threaded sections of PVC fittings. A common 2mm thick gasket might not be sufficient, but this 3mm thick gasket provides peace of mind.
Normally, one gasket placed on the water surface side is sufficient. However, if the gap between the flanges is large, or if the breeding container wall is thin (1.5mm or less), it may be safer to place another gasket on the outside of the container.

13A and 16A have the same thread standard and are compatible with both.
Most overflow modifications for medaka breeding tanks use either 16A or 13A.
