Nambu Tekki Iwachu Imagawayaki (Obanyaki)

Nambu Ironware Iwachu Imagawayaki (Obanyaki)

This is an Imagawayaki pan from Iwachu, a long-established Nambu ironware maker in Iwate.
The mold design features an oni (ogre) in the center and six thunderclouds around it.
Because it's made of ironware, it's resistant to burning and makes delicious Imagawayaki.
Nambu ironware is excellent for baking pans as it minimizes uneven heating.
It thoroughly cooks the ingredients.
Freshly baked Imagawayaki is exceptional.
The manufacturer, Iwachu, has sold out of their Imagawayaki pans, so this is considered a rare item.
