【Excellent Condition】 Nikomat FTN 35mm Film SLR Camera with Lens

This is a Nikomat FTN model manufactured by Nikon (then Nippon Kogaku K.K.).

It comes with its original cover and is a rare retro camera.
Although it is over 50 years old, it is in beautiful condition with no major scratches or dirt.
However, as there is no film, the operation has not been confirmed.

Specifications are as follows:
• Camera Body: Nikomat FTN (released in 1967)
• This was a very popular SLR film camera, known as Nikon's robust mid-range model.
• Lens: Nikkor-S Auto 50mm f/1.4
• This is a very bright standard lens and one of the representative masterpieces of Nikon at the time.

Important Notes:
If you plan to actually use this camera, please check the following:
• Light Meter Battery: Mercury batteries (MR9) were used at the time, but they are no longer sold. Therefore, a substitute battery (e.g., adapter + SR44) is required.

• Lens Mounting: Cameras of this era require a gacha-gacha operation, where you move the aperture ring back and forth to communicate the maximum aperture value to the camera.

Thank you for viewing.

We look forward to your consideration.
