PRAKTICA BC1 Old East German SLR Camera - Defects

SLR camera manufactured by East German company Pentacon, released in 1984.
Features an electronically controlled vertical-travel focal-plane shutter.
This model combined manual shutter speeds and aperture-priority AE, but the AE and meter are non-functional on the provided unit. Manual shutter speeds (B, 1-1/1000) are operational.
The camera body is constructed with a die-cast metal chassis and a plastic top cover. The top cover has no cracks or scratches, but there are signs of use overall, with paint peeling on the metal parts.

The standard lens, PRAKTICAR 50mm f/1.8, is based on the Oreston lens from Meyer Optik Görlitz.
There is a minor dent on the focusing ring, but it does not affect usability. However, the focusing helicoid grease has hardened, making the focus adjustment slightly stiff.

The 70-210mm zoom lens is in good external condition, but there is internal haze. Although branded PRAKTICAR, it is believed to be manufactured by Sigma.
The 28mm wide-angle lens has small dust particles visible on the inner elements. Additionally, a portion of the front of the plastic lens barrel is chipped (please refer to the photos). While this does not affect filter attachment or other usage, it impacts the cosmetic appearance. This lens is also branded PRAKTICAR, but the JCII sticker indicates it is Japanese-made, and its construction suggests it was manufactured by Tokina.
These two lenses offer a surprising glimpse into the era when domestic Japanese manufacturers supplied lenses to Eastern Bloc companies.

Due to the aforementioned conditions, this item is being sold as junk.
