This is a hat from Maxim, a proud Japanese hat manufacturer favored by the Imperial family.
The material is unknown, but it is a delicate and beautiful fabric, like organza silk.
The rose-like floral motif and ribbon decoration are very gorgeous.
There is some discoloration on the inside (photos 9 and 10),
but it is still usable.
