The anti-theft component is built into the base. Attach your SoloShot 3 to the included camera stand, and magnetically secure it to your car's hood or roof (no worries about scratches thanks to the rubber coating).
Connect the security wire to your car's door handle or steering wheel to prevent theft (unlike the genuine key lock, the wire connects to a non-rotating part of the base, so there's no risk of it getting tangled).
Since the wire is connected to the SoloShot unit itself, there's no need to worry about someone removing the SoloShot from the camera stand.
