YAMAHA G2 Grand Piano | Tuned Every 2 Years | Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture | Delivery Available

This is the popular G2 series among YAMAHA grand pianos.

[About this piano]

This is a piano from the era before mass production of domestic pianos, when craftsmen built each one by hand. It has a gentle and warm tone that symbolizes that era.

Personally, I feel it's a tone that makes you want to play French pieces like Debussy or Erik Satie.
The touch is firm, allowing you to feel the outline of each note.

[Piano Owner]
A music-loving woman living in Ibaraki Prefecture.
The piano has been played by herself and her daughter.

Her older sister is also a piano teacher, and the piano has been cherished by the family to this day.
It is now being sold due to a move to a distant location.

[Maintenance Status]
Purchased in 2000 as a renewed piano, it has been tuned and inspected annually until 2010, and then every two years until 2024.

The last tuning was in January 2026, at which time the piano was disassembled for internal cleaning and exterior waxing.
