This is a tub drum with a diameter of 30 cm and a depth of 12 cm.
It is a one-piece, full-fiber construction.
The playing surface may look like skin, but it is a solid piece integrated with the body. Think of it as the bottom of a tub lol.
It has a single wire snare on the inside of the playing surface, adjustable like a bendir.
There are 18 jingles on the edge of the opening, adding a sizzle sound like a duff.
The sound is earthy, like bongos, with moderate volume. It cannot be tuned, but it can produce three distinct pitches.
How about a lightweight, moisture-proof band drum?
