This is a wooden boomerang. I purchased it new at the Conran Shop Fukuoka store over 20 years ago. The wax that was included when new, shown in the last image, is not present. It has not been used outdoors. It was kept indoors as decoration. I will clean it with guitar maintenance orange oil before shipping. The wood grain is beautiful and stylish. The outer box has some scuffs. It is difficult to find now. How about as an antique interior decoration?
