SONY SL-HF66 Betamax Video Cassette Recorder - Powers On, Operation Unconfirmed

This is a Sony SL-HF66 Betamax VCR with Betahi-fi functionality. At the time, companies were fiercely competing, divided into Beta and VHS factions, but Beta format products have since disappeared. This unit was received from an acquaintance and has been stored in a closet for a long time. They mentioned that they didn't use it much as they also owned a VHS VCR. It was a cool model back then with a level meter. It had Hi-Fi and monaural options, and the Hi-Fi models were quite expensive. It powers on. This is for the main unit only. The power cord is attached to the unit and cannot be removed. The instruction manual is not included. This is a Made in Japan product and weighs around 10 kg, making it quite heavy. I believe this is due to its precise construction. There are no noticeable scratches. I cleaned it with a cloth, but there is some dirt (on the back) that could not be removed. It might be removable with special cleaning detergent. It appears to have been released in the early 1980s. Please understand that this is an old home appliance before purchasing.
